We supply and install low-voltage under cabinet lighting
Looking for Under Cabinet Lighting ?
Overhead lighting has been the standard in most areas of the home for quite some time. However, in the kitchen, under cabinet lighting is often preferable. When working with food, an under cabinet light provides illumination that a bulb in the ceiling cannot match. Plus, it gives the room a modern and unique look that many homeowners find attractive.
Advanced thermal technology using leading-edge LEDs enables us to create Illumaled with total light output exceeding 250 lumens while using only 7.5 watts of power.

LED vs. Non-LED
Many lighting manufacturers are now using LED bulbs for their under cabinet lighting. LED lighting emits very little heat making it a great choice for the kitchen, traditionally the warmest room in the home. LED lighting also lasts years (up to 17 years if run 8 hours per day) eliminating the need to replace hard to reach bulbs and fixtures where the bulb is built into the light. LED lighting is also cheap to run and will not significantly increase your electric bill. This is especially important to justify the costs of “non-essential” lighting like under cabinet lighting.

LED Tape for Under Cabinet Lights
This product is really cool. At only 1/8” high, you don’t need a trim on the bottom of the cabinet to hide the light. LED tape is perfect for comtemporary cabinets without a rim or reveal.
It also runs on a transformer, which can be installed in a cabinet or even hung in the basement below. The tape can be cut to length, so the lighting is fitted to every cabinet unlike strips. LED tape is available in low output for accenting a backsplash or high output for task applications. This product has so many more possibilities, too. It’s tiny enough to fit in a handrail on stairs, or under a ledge on a step. Overall, if changing existing lights, the strip will be the fastest for the electrician. If the project is a new kitchen, then the tape is much slimmer, less noticeable and more customizable.
